HomeWealth is a free Chrome browser extension that provides mortgage cost estimates on property listing websites. This privacy policy explains how we handle your data when you use the HomeWealth extension and visit homewealth.co.uk.

What data we collect

The HomeWealth extension performs all mortgage calculations locally in your browser. We do not track which properties you view, which websites you visit, or how you use the extension.

If you choose to request broker quotes through the extension, we collect the following information that you voluntarily provide:

• Your name, email address, and phone number
• Your buyer type (first time buyer, home mover, remortgage, buy to let)
• Your preferred timeframe for purchasing
• Your employment status
• The property price, deposit percentage, and mortgage term you selected
• The URL of the property listing you were viewing

How we use your data

The information you submit through the broker quote form is used solely to connect you with FCA regulated mortgage brokers who can provide you with personalised quotes. We share your details with up to 3 brokers who cover your area.

Data storage and processing

Form submissions are processed through Zapier, a secure workflow automation platform, and delivered to us via email. We do not maintain a database of user submissions beyond our email records.

Cookies and tracking

The HomeWealth extension does not use cookies. The homewealth.co.uk website is hosted on Netlify and may use essential cookies required for the site to function. We do not use any analytics or advertising trackers.

We use the following third party services:

• Zapier (form data processing)
• Google Chrome Web Store (extension distribution)

Your rights

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email address below.

Data retention

We retain broker quote request data for up to 12 months to handle any follow up enquiries. After this period, your data is deleted.
